Printable December 2026 calendar

December 2026 starts on a Tuesday and ends on a Thursday. It has 31 days: 23 weekdays and 8 weekend days (four Saturdays and four Sundays).

December fills up with things that don't happen the rest of the year: school concerts, class parties, last-minute shopping, travel and visiting family. On a whiteboard or phone each of these is easy to miss. On a printed month on the fridge, everyone sees the whole month at once.

A few ways families use the December page:

• Mark the fixed dates first. School performances, the last day before winter break, travel days and work parties. The rest of the month gets planned around them.
• Give each person a color. With one pen per person, kids can see at a glance which days are about them.
• Leave some evenings empty. A month full of plans is tiring for children. Blank squares are worth protecting.
• Write down shipping deadlines. If you send packages to family, mark the last day to post them so it doesn't slip by.

If you're running an advent calendar, the printable advent calendar has 24 doors that fit around a busy month, with quick activities on weekdays and bigger ones on weekends. For the week-by-week view, the free family calendar bundle has a weekly planner with a column for each family member.
